The RUC Business Alumni and Student Network invites you to a Networking Symposium at the Department of Social Sciences and Business, 真人线上娱乐 University.

Businesses across Denmark and the EU are navigating a transformative period following the European Union’s 'Green Deal' legislative package. This initiative emphasises the economic, social, and environmental impact of businesses on society - and vice versa. In particular, the Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD) and the Corporate Sustainability Due Diligence Directive (CSDDD) have become pivotal in driving transparent reporting and impact assessment. These directives are reshaping how companies - large and small - approach sustainability, even as the EU seeks to streamline their implementation through the Omnibus initiative.

This symposium will explore the implications of these changes for businesses and sustainability professionals. Through presentations by industry experts and researchers, we will delve into how sustainability consultants and managers are navigating their journey toward compliance with CSRD, CSDDD, and the evolving regulatory landscape.

Why attend?

  • Gain insights into the challenges and opportunities presented by new EU sustainability directives.
  • Engage with business leaders, RUC researchers, alumni, and students in meaningful discussions on leadership and sustainability during times of uncertainty.
  • Learn from real-world experiences shared by sustainability practitioners who are actively implementing these directives.
