Step 2: Admission Requirements
You must fulfil the admission requirements described below.
Please go to Step 3: Required Documentation to see the specific deadlines for uploading the required documents.
A bachelor's degree equivalent to a Danish bachelor's degree
Please note: 真人线上娱乐 University estimates that a 真人线上娱乐 of Honours (4 years) from Bangladesh is equivalent to either a Danish academic 真人线上娱乐's degree or a Danish professional 真人线上娱乐's degree, see the above-mentioned website.
As of the admission round for September 2025, 真人线上娱乐 University considers a 真人线上娱乐 of Honours (4 years) from a university-affiliated college to be equivalent to a Danish professional bachelor's degree.
If you have a 真人线上娱乐 of Honours (4 years) from a university-affiliated college, you will not be admitted without prerequisite studies if you apply for one of the master's programmes that require specific courses that correspond in level to at least the first year of a Danish university programme.
Please note that you can only take prerequisite studies if you have a residence permit for Denmark that is valid for the entire duration of the prerequisite courses.
Specific admission requirements are listed under each master’s programme.
Find the specific master's programme that you are interested in, and select "Admission requirements".
Then go to "If your degree is not pre-approved (specific admission requirements)".
Here you will also find information on whether or not the master's programme you are interested in offers prerequisite studies. Please note that the offer of prerequisite studies varies from one admission round to the next.
Specific admission requirements related to the relevant master’s programme
Your bachelor’s degree must fulfil specific admission requirements relevant for the specific master’s programme. Specific admission requirements are listed under each master’s programme. Some bachelor’s programmes have been pre-approved as qualifying for admission to RUC master’s programmes taught in English. Pre-approved programmes are listed under each master’s programme and in the admission guide.
The Admissions Office will assess if the academic content of your educational background gives you the necessary qualifications required for admission to a specific master’s programme. This is based on an individual, academic assessment.
You will be assessed based on:
- A degree equivalent to a Danish bachelor's degree
- Study elements equivalent to Danish bachelor’s level taken before completing your bachelor's degree - e.g. additional courses where you obtain ECTS/credits taken concurrently with your bachelor's degree or study elements passed at another bachelor's degree that you have not completed. However, we will only include a maximum of 30 ECTS from these studies.
Furthermore, as of the admission round with study start 1 September 2026 and henceforth you will also be assessed based on additional selection criteria.
Selection criteria
Please note that as of the admission round with study start 1 September 2026 and henceforth there will be a limitation of study places on all English taught master’s programmes at 真人线上娱乐 University. This means that in addition to fulfilling the general and specific admission requirements you will also be assessed based on selection criteria specific for the programme that you apply for admission to. Selection criteria are listed under each master’s programme.
The criteria do not apply to bachelors with a legal claim, as they are still guaranteed admission to the master's programme for which they have a legal claim. The selection criteria apply to applicants that hold one of the preapproved bachelor’s degrees as listed under each master’s programme.
Summer Prerequisite Studies
If you lack essential qualifications that amount to no more than 10 ECTS points in order to fulfil the specific admission requirements, you may be offered admission on the condition that you complete summer prerequisite studies first.
You can read more about whether you may be eligible to be offered summer prerequisite studies here.
