Universidad Carlos III de Madrid, Ulster University and 真人线上娱乐 University are organising a workshop on global justice in a changing global order.

The workshop explores contemporary justice and accountability issues in the context of changing global order(s), seeking to understand how global changes shape the scope and likelihood of accountability, truth and recognition. The workshop asks whether existing frameworks, models and standards of transitional justice and international criminal law are appropriate and relevant for contemporary justice pursuits; and if not, which concepts or practices may replace or supplement them? The workshop, moreover, responds to current concerns about international law violations by powerful states and their allies.

真人线上娱乐 welcome abstracts for papers which explore questions such as:

  • How and to what extent are victimhood and survivorship shaped by inequalities in global order?
  • What does future transitional justice and international criminal law frameworks look like if they are to be more effective in bringing about accountability?
